Locale

Bore and I spent a super romantic weekend at his super cute and rustic Jersey-chic hideaway house - aka his regular house! It got me thinking about wedding venues.

There is an on-site babbling brook at his place - a major plus for wedding vibes, feng shui, and fun! http://www.morrisfengshui.com/Feng_Shui_Info.html

But I Live in Brooklyn - and I LOVE it here. Plus - Brooklyn is the first place BV lived when he moved to the States. PLUS - the East River totally babbles!

Other places to consider: Kansas City, Chicago, Florida, Bermuda, Faroe Islands...

Luckily, When you're in love with Boro - there's romantic splendor everywhere you look!

I Won!

I won A free home security system! I don't think I tried to win it, but I still feel strangely proud.

My home doesn't need much securing because I don't really HAVE anything. And Bore's house is naturally secure because it is So Far Away.

I hope I can trade the security system in for steak knives which are multi purpose. My dad suggests wasp spray.

Boro Was His Name O - Part 1

I am naturally bossy which is not fun for certain people. One major bit of self betterment I'm working on is to not to influence other people's good intentions with my own idea of what their good intentions should be.

For instance, just because This Super Reasonable, Romantic Fellow took his wife's last name, doesn't mean that I should even bring UP the idea to BV -

A kindness should be the kind person's intellectual property. I shouldn't suggest that BV buy me flowers, nor should I do Rockette kicks in his face until he says, "those are nice boots."

He is naturally nice enough and doesn't need my help. I appreciated it so much when he complimented me on my hair the other day (which unfortunately looks like a Big Rectangle). It was a compliment made of his free will from his big heart.

Still, I am going to try to win a free veil to cover it up.

Hopefully, he will also really like the veil. And I will try not to do any fancy dances to illicit the compliment.

Honeymooners!

Hi you friends - Thanks to everyone for the sweet wishes re: Bore and Me! And thanks for all the contest ideas - This is the best one yet - http://www.runawaybrideandgroom.com/

We would be the best Honeymoon Testers ever because we REALLY LIKE LEISURE. If only I could make a hologram of BV for the video - The deadline is too soon - and I'm not quite ready to do the asking.

His Birthday is June 6, so I'm thinking that might be the perfecto question popping day... We're also planning a trip up to Syracuse in early May - but that trip is centered around a casino, and I want to ask in a moment of maximum health! I don't want him to associate our love with roulette or plinko!

Wild!

BV and I had a Super Date on Saturday! We spent the day mixing our rock album in NJ then headed to Brooklyn for dinner.

On our way, we discovered a strange place between Brooklyn and NJ where neither of us had ever set foot - Staten Island!

To embrace love and newness (and because we were so hungry we couldn't bare to cross another bridge) we decided to look no further to find the romantic restaurant of our dreams!

It was impossible for me to not get the Wild Boar Sausage in honor of my date. It might be equally impossible for me to not serve Wild Bore at my wedding. How can I resist?

Hopefully he'll say yes!

No Coke is Good Coke...Every Coke is the BEST!

Sadly, I had to give it up in January 2010 because it compromised the integrity of my favorite tooth (can't take chances on crooked dentists - gotta save up for florists and photographers!)

Last Night I faced the biggest not having a Coke challenge to date. I was doing yacht work on a particularly Choppy East River. Drunk groomsmen were falling over, and I almost threw up on every one of them! What's the best remedy for sea sickness and nerves? Coke!

But for maximum self betterment, I didn't even have a sip. I drank water and looked at the horizon line instead. Not nearly as delicious, but not bad - eh? Sticking to my guns will make me a better life partner to BV.

Hopefully, I will win this Herbasway Beauty Drink Gift Basket http://bionic-beauty.com/giveaway-win-herbasway-beauty-drink-basket/ Maybe this bionic drink is the Coke alternative I've been waiting for!

The Cuse!

For those of you who don't know - I've known BV since the 90's - Sheesh. When we went to Syracuse, we didn't use the internet because it barely existed! And we didn't go to basketball games because ... we were too busy not using the internet?

Now a days we have lots of school spirit and were bummed when Syracuse lost to stupid Butler last night. BV said it was a good game - I love how he always finds a bright side!

Two of my good friends have been proposed to on trips back to the 'Cuse. Maybe BV will be a third!! But should I wait for an entirely new basketball season to start?
