I got one - part two!

I love the way Boro uses the word "Everything."

He says things like, "We can eat burritos, pinchos, everything" and "I'm going to go home and take a shower, a nap, everything" all the time. I love his "everything" in this postcard - sounds so fun!

I don't like to talk about ex boyfriends in my Boro blog, but I can't resist this once -

My one ex boyfriend would always say "or something" as in "I want to eat a burrito or something."

and Another ex would always say "or nothin" as in "I'm not going to take a shower or nothin."

Isn't Everything so much better than Something and Nothing? Boro is everything to me, and I can't wait to let him know!

My friend Erinn sent me this link http://www.weddingcontests.com/ - I hope I can win Everything for Boro!

I got one - part one!

I was having super moody feelings re: Boro's NJ Hide-A-way yesterday after a traffic nightmare that made me late for my J.O.B.

That is - until I got a sweet NJ post card in the mail from BV. He drew a little me and him on the boardwalk.

Now I can't wait to get back to the hide-a-way! I thought sending post cards was fun - Getting postcards makes my heart Soar -- over the beautiful hills of New Jersey.

Raffle!

Boro and I went on a super fun date to a VFW hall over the weekend with dancing, DJ Teen Angel and Prizes. I didn't win the cash prize or the gift basket - but I DID win this book. What a thrill when the MC read my ticket number - I screamed! Now this book is mine all mine - Wait a minute - now this book is Ours.

Set in Stone!

Just outside the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station stands an acoustic wonder zone. If you whisper into one marbled corner, the sound travels up the wall, over and down to the opposite corner. It's amazing!

When I demonstrate this trick to friends and visitors, I usually ask them simple questions like "can you hear me?" and "how many fingers am I holding up?" Their answers "yes" and "one" come back clear as a bell!

But what if I asked THE question? Geology was Boro's total Major. He might really appreciate being proposed to via stone!

My brother in law sent me a link to this Turtle Wax Jingle writing contest. I hope that Boro and I can work at winning this contest Together!

Mengagement Rings

I am wild about the engagement ring that I got for Boro. I got it at the Salvation Army - where I get all my best stuff. Jewelry and clothes and furniture are so much more exciting when they are from the Past.

Unfortunately, I have been spending too much time gazing into Boris's big eyes - and not enough time gazing at his giant ring finger - It's as wide as the Baltic Sea! The ring I bought is two or three sizes too big for me, but I don't think it's Boro Size - I'm afraid it totally won't DO.

This ring jump started my heart when I saw it, and I've been carrying it around in my wallet in case the perfect proposal storm struck. I'm going to miss it.

I've hit my first proposition snafu - I've got to find a new ring with a past. fast!

House Warming!

It was Yard Sale city in NJ this weekend. I got Boro this super cute dog-lady salt shaker for his new kitchen. I LOVE salt. Hopefully BV will think of me every time he uses it.

$1.50 is practically free considering how stylish and practical it is! I feel like a winner every time I go to a yard sale.

Maybe next week, I'll win him a pepper grinder!

Westward!

Some nice lady took this picture of me and Boro on our way to his house in the wilderness.

I don't really like driving, but I hope I can win a Buick so that it takes less than 9 days to see my beloved.

In the mean time, we've been loving the USPS. Love letters are the best! Maybe I should propose via post card!

Expo!

Last night I got to work aboard my very own mother ship - the NYC wedding expo! I didn't get to enter any of the sweet raffles, but I Did get to see how to be a savvy bride to be. The Expo Ladies knew just what to do: ask super specific questions of the wedding vendors and plan way ahead.

One of the Exposed was planning her wedding for April 2013 - SMOKES - I've got to get cooking! I hope I win this chocolate wedding calendar to help keep myself on track!
